SCOUT satellite communication systems are employed by the Army’s Security Force Assistance Brigades (SFABs) and will be fielded to Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) as part of the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN) modernization effort. Both mission requirements leverage a configuration of modular commercial-off-the-shelf communications and network package requirements to provide beyond-line-of-sight Non-classified Internet Protocol (NIPR), SECRET Internet Protocol (SIPR), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), and Secure But Unclassified (SBU) data/voice capability to team level and above.
Develop the logistics integration support necessary to establish a Sustainment Support Package (SSP) that can ensure the long-term sustainability of the SCOUT program for all the system configurations fielded to both SFAB units and BCTs. Logistics/maintainability analysis, provisioning, technical manuals, training, and development of a technical data package. Also includes key sustainment management support services to ensure the program can be sustained once initial fielding is completed. Perform quality assurance, configuration management, engineering change support and security/software sustainment.
